School Council Training

A one day School Council training programme which provides training in team building, communication, conflict resolution and the development of a one year School Council Strategy was conducted in the following schools: Collegiate Grammar School, Fermanagh, Loreto Community School Milford; Loreto Convent Letterkenny, Falcarragh Community School, Mage Erne Bundoran and Colaiste Cholmcille Ballyshannon.

Motivational Training for Leaving Certificate Students

This three hour programme focusing on goal setting for exam success and life mapping was completed with Leaving Certificate and Leaving Certificate Applied students in Errigal College, Letterkenny for the School Completion Programme and also run for Leaving Certificate students across Donegal in the Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny.

Milford Community Youth Project

Support and Development of a Youth Reference Group; a group of young people trained in sexual health, peer education and advocacy to review sexual health services for the HSE. The group developed a range of educational resources and training programmes for parents and professionals.

Donegal Local Development Programme: Student Support Programme

Facilitation of a range of Conflict Resolution, Community Relations, Anti Bullying and Peer Mediation training programmes in Bundoran, Ballyshannon and Omagh.

Donegal Youth Council

Facilitation of Sexual Health training and support of a youth reference group to address issues of concern: RSE within schools and the Cervical Cancer vaccination.

Relationships and Sexuality Education

Facilitation of a three hour workshop as a basic introduction to the key issues relating to sexual health, i.e. Peer Pressure, Morality and Values, Pregnancy, Contraceptives and Sexually Transmitted Infections in Errigal College, Moville Community College (with DYC) and PCC, Falcarragh.

Derg Finn Partnership

Facilitation of Reconciliation training programmes for carers in Tyrone and Donegal. Participants in each workshop were from Tyrone and Donegal and were mixed in relation to gender, age, religion, cultural background and identity.

Raphoe Family Resource Centre

Supporting staff and volunteers develop programmes to meet the needs of families in the Raphoe area based on their three year action plan.
